The Mazzer x Slayer grinder is the first product born from the long-term strategic partnership between Mazzer and Cimbali Group, two Italian icons synonymous with modern espresso culture. Combining Cimbali Group’s expertise in extraction with Mazzer’s precision grinding, the collaboration brings together Italian craftsmanship, engineering excellence and design-led innovation.

The collaboration reflects a shift towards viewing grinding and extraction as a single connected process, driven by growing demand for precision, consistency and workflow efficiency. By aligning Mazzer’s grinding expertise with Slayer’s espresso philosophy, the partnership enables a more integrated end-to-end system designed to optimise performance across the preparation journey. Designed for medium-to-high volume coffee environments, the grinder features 69 mm conical burrs with Mazzer’s ZZ geometry for improved particle uniformity, alongside a grind-by-weight system with integrated load cell for real-time dosing accuracy and greater consistency versus time-based grinding. It also reflects Slayer’s distinctive barista centric approach, combining tactile interaction, iconic design and meticulous attention to detail.
